Bunnythorpe–Wanganui line conductor replacement

What we're doing

Transpower is carrying out a project to replace the existing conductor (i.e. wire) on the double circuit 110 kV line between Bunnythorpe and Wanganui.

Why we're doing it

The existing conductor is nearing the end of its economic life and needs to be replaced.
