Feedback sought on HVDC Pole 3 Commissioning option
Feedback was sought on the use and modelling of "round power" in the testing programme for the commissioning of Pole 3 of the HVDC. A copy of the consultation paper and the submissions are below.

HVDC Commissioning Industry Advisory Group
A group has been established to advise Transpower on issues relating to the commissioning of Pole 3. The group is made up of electricity industry members who have an interest in supporting the timely and cost-effective commissioning of Pole 3.
The role of the group is to provide a layer of industry co-ordination, advice and support on commissioning issues. Given the heavy dependence on generation and reserves availability for commissioning, and the potential of the HVDC to impact on operation of the power system, having a party that Transpower can consult with during the commissioning process is vital.
