As part of the North Island Grid Upgrade project, Transpower is constructing a switching station at Drury to intersect (or ‘bus’) the Huntly–Otahuhu A line.

Why we're doing it

This project together with the other North Island Grid Upgrade projects will help provide security of supply to the upper North Island for the foreseeable future.
